The Ellen Degeneres Show (April 2015)

The Ellen Show, in partnership with Shutterfly, donated $10,000 to New Eyes thanks to an appearance by advocate Jake Gyllenhaal. 


EyeRock Concert, Hard Rock Café, Saturday (March 21, 2015)

New Eyes hosted its second annual fundraising concert in March at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square with guest performer Lisa Loeb, in conjunction with the annual International Vision Expo East held in New York at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. New Eyes also had a presence at the expo introducing the organization to potential optical corporate partners 


Kids Rock for Vision Concert (March 14, 2015)

For the seventh consecutive year, local elite teen musicians held a concert to raise money and awareness on behalf of New Eyes. All proceeds purchased new eyeglasses for children living in the United States. Kids Rock has raised over $48,000 for New Eyes since 2009.

Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day (September 11, 2014)

To commemorate the Cantor employees lost on the 9/11, Cantor Fitzgerald invites celebrities into their offices to facilitate trades on Charity Day, September 11th.  All company revenues of the day are donated to charities. This year, Cantor invited actor and New Eyes advocate Jake Gyllenhaal who assigned New Eyes as the beneficiary of his participation in the day

Shop2Care (September 2014) 

New Eyes is one of 20 charities who has partnered with new and innovative shopping website where a portion of proceeds from customer purchases will be donated to New Eyes children's eyeglass program. Customers can shop at all their favorite retail sites including Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy's, Best Buy, Expedia and more. Supporters only need to complete a simple registration form and click on "Children's Causes". 


Marvel Optics (August 2014)

In order to fully meet the soaring demand from North Carolina for eyeglass vouchers, New Eyes has partnered with Marvel Optics, an online eyeglass retailer, to service NC residents. NC voucher recipients are instructed to visit the New Eyes portal at Marvel Optics. ( and follow prompts to order their glasses online. New Eyes has negotiated a price level with Marvel Optics that is significantly lower than using a traditional voucher at an optical store. 

New Eyes' New Website Launch (August 2014)

New Eyes launched its newly redesigned website offering a cleaner, more streamlined look and a more user-friendly interface. Due to the new platform, New Eyes has been able to add more features, text, and photos allowing users to access more information and easily navigate the site.


$52,000 Gift for Online Application Development (August 2014)

New Eyes received a donation of $52,000 to pay for costs associated with developing an online application for our eyeglass voucher program to enable social service agencies and their clients an easier, more effective procedure to obtain eyeglasses. We are nearing completion and anticipate a test rollout for a limited audience in early summer.
